Some states require charities soliciting funds within a state to register with the state agency responsible for regulating charities. As a faith-based, religious organization, therefore several states exempt our ministry from solicitation registration.

Illinois residents: Contracts and reports regarding MJBI are on file with the Illinois Attorney General. **

Kansas: The annual financial report for the preceding fiscal year is on file with the Secretary of State, 1st Floor, Memorial Hall, 120 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66612. **

Maine: You may obtain information on the respective percentages of contributions that will be paid to the charitable organization and to the paid fund raiser by contacting the Attorney General, Department of Professional & Financial Regulation, 35 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333. **

Maryland residents: For the cost of postage and copying, documents and information filed under the Maryland charitable organizations laws can be obtained from the Secretary of State, Charitable Division, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401, 800-825-4510. **

Michigan residents: Contact our office for the registration number of MJBI in the state of Michigan. **

New Jersey residents: Information filed with the Attorney General concerning this charitable solicitation may be obtained from the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey by calling 1-973-504-6215. Registration with the Attorney General does not imply endorsement. **

West Virginia residents: West Virginia residents may obtain a summary of the registration and financial documents from the Secretary of State, State Capital, Charleston, WV 25305. Registration does not imply endorsement. **

Wisconsin: A financial statement of MJBI, the charitable organization, disclosing assets, liabilities, fund balances, revenue, and expenses for the preceding fiscal year will be provided upon request. **

Whistle Blower Policy:

Policy on Suspected Misconduct, Dishonesty, Fraud, And Whistle-blower Protection:

If any person knows of or has a suspicion about misconduct, dishonesty or fraud, Human Resources or the Executive Manager should be contacted. If the alleged wrongdoing concerns the Executive Manager, then the President should be notified instead.

If Human Resources, the Executive Manager or President receives information about misconduct, dishonesty or fraud, they shall inform the Board which shall determine the procedure for investigating all credible allegations.

At all times, the privacy and reputation of individuals involved will be respected. There will be no punishment or other retaliation for the reporting of conduct under this policy. If the person providing the information requests anonymity, this request will be respected to the extent that doing so does not impede any investigation.
