How Olek and Hanna are Making History

When Olek Shainoga announced that he wanted to learn the Polish language five years ago, his wife, Hanna, didn’t understand why. In fact, he wasn’t sure either. It was just something he felt God put in his heart. The couple were living in Odessa, Ukraine, with their two children, working alongside Valentin and Tatyana Sviontek at MJBI, where they had met, got married, and graduated 18 years earlier. They had a passion to see the Jewish people come to the Lord, but this newfound interest in the Polish language didn’t make much sense.

However, late last year the puzzle pieces began coming together in a way only God could orchestrate. The leaders at the The College of Theology and Social Sciences in Warsaw, Poland, were interested in adding a Messianic Jewish studies program, making it the first accredited Messianic Jewish degree in Europe’s history. They connected with MJBI to help, but there was one problem—they needed someone who could speak the Polish language. Enter Olek and Hanna Shainoga.

MJBI is transforming lives all around the world by equipping leaders like Olek and Hanna, but we need your help to raise $75,000 before the end of the year. Please consider joining us in our mission to fulfill the great commission. Your gift will not just change the life of a student this year, it will equip a leader to impact their community for the rest of their life!
