Jewish Voice Ministries International (JVMI) and the MJBI partnered with The King’s University (TKU) to establish a Messianic Jewish Studies program at TKU that began in the fall of 2007.

Studies in the Messianic Jewish Studies concentration at TKU can lead to fully-accredited undergraduate or graduate degrees. We believe this program can benefit anyone from the pastor or Messianic rabbi who wants to earn a Master of Divinity degree to the individual who only wants to earn a one-year undergraduate or graduate certificate. Classes are offered in three formats: online, modular, and on campus in Van Nuys. For convenience, students do have the option to earn their undergraduate degree completely online. Graduate degrees can also be earned primarily online, although some modular class time in Van Nuys is required.

The program offers studies at five levels:

1. Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree

2. Master’s degree options:
A. The 3-year general Master of Divinity (M.Div.) with electives in Messianic Jewish Studies
B. The 2-year Master of Messianic Jewish Studies (MPT—Master in Practical Theology) with a concentration in Messianic Jewish studies

3. Graduate or Bachelor general Certificate in Messianic Jewish Studies
4. Bachelor’s degree in Theological Studies (BTS) with a concentration in Messianic Jewish Studies

5. Continuing Education—non-credit basis

Dr. Jack Hayford is the Chancellor, and Dr. Paul Chappell is the Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at TKU. Jonathan Bernis oversees the MJBI/JVM aspects of this program as the Chairman of the Board of the MJBI and Executive Director of JVM.
