Before joining the MJBI staff in October 2015, Nic was a young entrepreneur and emerging philanthropist who bought, developed and sold numerous small businesses. He co-founded the Ezekiel Foundation with his business partner in 2010 to engage in community development and missional social change around the world, particularly amongst the Ethiopian Jewish population.
Nic joined the MJBI Board of Advisors in 2010, and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2014. In 2011, Nic felt a deep calling from the Lord to the Jewish communities in Ethiopia, and his engagement with MJBI became stronger each year thereafter. Nic was a local elder of Soma Church in Tyler, TX for 5 years before becoming an Apostolic Elder in 2016. He serves on the board of two other global Israel-focused ministries, as well as two other non-profit organizations.
Nic has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington and an M.A. in Non-Profit Management and Leadership from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He and his wife Tabatha reside in DFW with their two children, Naomi and Avi, where they are members of Baruch HaShem Messianic Synagogue.
