1.  SILENCING THE DRAGON—A SIGN OF ENCOURAGEMENT AS WE STAND ON COUNCELS AND PURPOSES OF GOD Last week we shared with you our intercessors visions recently given to Rick Ridings at the Succat Hallel house of prayer.  In the first vision (October 21 ), Rick saw a great fire-breathing dragon circling the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.  When flames came from its mouth, violence was released onto the Mount (which has…

Israel Prayer Update, November 3, 2014

Rainbow touching the Temple Mount this past Saturday afternoon.   OUR HOPE IS BASED ON THE PROMISES OF GOD. The photo was taken with a cell phone by Norma Sarvis from Succat Hallel house of prayer in Jerusalem. The worship leader was singing, “Your love never fails, it never gives up…” when she looked up and saw that the bow had formed over the mountain. Presently a place of great contention, it is here that God “provided the Lamb” and where His Son will reign (Psalm 2).     1.  ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE:  WARFARE OVER THE MOUNT INTENSIFIES.   “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YHVH as the waters cover the sea”  (Isaiah 11:9). On the 20th of…

ISRAEL PRAYER UPDATE FOR OCTOBER 27, 2014 Stone memorial at the Abu Tor Overlook above the southern slope of the Ben Hinnom Valley in Jerusalem.  On the stone in Hebrew, Arabic and English is a text from this week’s Torah Portion (Genesis 13:14) which reads:  “And YHVH said to Abram… “Pray lift up your eyes and see from the place where you are, to the north, to the Negev, to the east, to the Sea…”     1.  AN INTENSIFIED CURRENT OF VIOLENCE IN JERUSALEM  The third verse in this past weekend’s Torah Portion read, “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence” (Genesis 6:11).  As though capturing a reflection of this in our present day, the large headlines of this weekend’s Jerusalem Post read,…

PRAYER UPDATE FROM ISRAEL OCTOBER 20, 2014     VIEW OF TEMPLE MOUNT AND MOUNT OF OLIVES FROM ABU TOR   1.  THINGS ARE INTENSIFYING ABOVE THE HOLY MOUNTAIN “Thus says YHVH of Armies, ‘I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.  Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of YHVH of Armies will be called The Holy Mountain (Zechariah 8:3). In June of 1967, the mountain just west of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem came under Jewish rule for the first time in 2500 years. This was the mountain in the land of Moriah upon which Abraham had offered up Isaac.  It was the “Mountain of the LORD’s Inheritance,” about which Moses and the children of Israel prophetically sang…
