The Feast of Trumpets and the New Covenant
Through Yeshua the Messiah, God has provided a way for mankind to be accepted. We are not dependent upon our good works. Messiah became the offering for sin, if we admit our sin, turn away from it by faith, we can be assured that our names will be inscribed in the Book of Life (Phil. 4:3 and Rev. 3:5). Someday a day of judgment will come and mankind’s sins must be judged, but Yeshua’s death balanced the judgment. The resurrection of Yeshua shows that he became the Judge (John 5:21-27; 12:31; and Acts 17:31).
I Thessalonians 4:16 tells us that the trumpet will sound when Jesus the Messiah returns to judge the earth. Yeshua haMeshiach will preside over a New Creation! That will be the ultimate Feast of Trumpets (2 Cor. 5:17; Romans 5:12-19; I Cor. 15:45; Romans 9:19-22).
